AI Video Editing

Turn a small set of clips into a clear promotional video, with captions and a repeatable editing process.

Your practical result

One short promotional clip and an editing checklist you can reuse for your next video.

The outline below is built around this result. Final tools and setup instructions will be confirmed with the session details before registration opens.

Who this is for

Business owners, marketers and content creators who want a practical first editing workflow.

What you’ll practice

  • Choose clips that support one message and a clear call to action.
  • Build a short sequence, then check captions, pacing and audio.
  • Export a reviewable video and document the steps worth repeating.

Your two-hour workshop outline

A guided demonstration, a substantial build exercise, and time to check the result. Times are approximate and include discussion.

  1. 0–10 min

    Set the brief

Choose one audience, message and video destination for a fictional local business.

  2. 10–30 min

    Watch the workflow

See how clip selection, a rough cut and AI-assisted captions fit together.

  3. 30–45 min

    Plan the cut

Mark useful footage and sketch a short beginning, middle and call to action.

  4. 45–85 min

    Build the video

Assemble the supplied clips, add captions and refine the pacing with instructor guidance.

  5. 85–105 min

    Review and export

Check caption accuracy, readable framing, music rights and the exported file.

  6. 105–120 min

    Make it repeatable

Save a checklist and identify the next video you can make with the same process.

Questions before you join

Do I need my own footage?

No. The planned exercise uses supplied practice footage. You can apply the same process to your own permitted material afterward.

Will we publish during the workshop?

When is the next session, and what does it cost?

Dates and fees are coming soon. The planned window is Friday, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. America/Chicago. Ask about availability below; an inquiry does not reserve a seat.

What will be confirmed before I register?
